The Visor Reinvented
First, it was the fanny pack, made over in materials from leather to canvas by designers from Chloe (have you seen their mini suede version?!) and Chanel to more utilitarian brands like Herschel Supply Co. I personally love my leather one by LA brand Ames Tovern.
So, it should come as no surprise that the visor was next. I mean, what else would you pair a fanny pack with? They’re a 90’s match made in heaven. A simple, sporty hat that serves to keep your face shaded from the sun, it’s long secretly been a favorite of mine (I have melasma from my last pregnancy), and it is ripe for an upgrade. Luckily a wave of new styles has come out this season from glamorous versions that take after a floppy brimmed straw hat, to ones that tie in the back with ribbons and suede and are reminiscent of an old-fashioned bonnet, to those that play up the quirkiness of the accessory.
